Our Services

sunday morning service

Our main service is held each Sunday morning at 10am at Banksmeadow Public School.  This is a service for everyone! It runs from 10-11:30am followed by morning tea. Our Sunday services generally include:

  • A Bible talk - to hear from God's word so we can learn how to better love and serve God in our everyday lives.
  • Announcements - so members and friends know what's happening in the life of the church.
  • Singing - we have a mix of contemporary and traditional style music
  • Open worship time - an opportunity where anyone can lead in prayer, share a verse from the Bible or announce a song. During this time we share communion (bread & grape juice to remember Jesus' death and resurrection).

It doesn't matter whether you've been going to church for decades, or if this is your first time - everyone is welcome at our Sunday service. It's a great time of encouragement, worship and focus on what God has done in Jesus.

Your children are important to us. During this service a program is provided for kids aged 3-11. Creche is provided for children younger than 3.

sunday night church

At the beginning of 2018 we started a new service at 6pm on Sunday nights. This is for people who might prefer to go to church at this time and we particularly for people who haven't been to church for a while or are new to the faith and want to grow.

Night church will typically involve a 20 minute Bible talk, singing, prayer and time spent together encouraging one another.

On the last Sunday of every month we share a relaxed dinner together and have a short Bible study instead of a normal service.
